Ambisome (amphotericin b)

AmBisome (amphotericin B) Liposome for Injection is an antifungal antibiotic used to treat serious, life-threatening fungal infections, including a certain form of meningitis in people infected with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), and is usually given after other antifungal antibiotics have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.

The drug is often used to treat HIV , Meningitis .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• shortness of breath,
• nausea,
• headache,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• loss of appetite,
• fever,
• shaking,
• chills,
• flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
• stomach pain,
• fast breathing 1 to 2 hours after the infusion is started,
• sleep problems (insomnia), or
• skin rash.

• Abelcet (amphotericin b injection)
• Rolvedon (eflapegrastim-xnst for injection)
• Fylnetra (pegfilgrastim-pbbk injection, for subcutaneous use)
