Zolmitriptan is a serotonin (5-HT)1B/1D receptor agonist (triptan) indicated for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults. Zolmitriptan is available in generic form.

The drug is often used to treat Migraine .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • dizziness,
  • indigestion,
  • weakness,
  • numbness and tingling,
  • dry mouth,
  • drowsiness,
  • difficulty swallowing,
  • sweating.
  • spinning sensation (vertigo), and
  • neck/throat/tightness/pressure/jaw pain,
  • warm or cold sensation,
