Zyflo CR (zileuton extended release tablets)

Zyflo CR (zileuton) Extended-Release is a leukotriene inhibitor used to prevent asthma symptoms and to decrease the number of asthma attacks.

The drug is often used to treat Asthma .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • skin rash,
  • clay-colored stools,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • numbness,
  • muscle weakness,
  • anxiety,
  • mood or behavior changes,
  • depression,
  • pain,
  • worsening asthma symptoms
  • bruising,
  • severe tingling,
  • thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself, and
