Zyflo (zileutin)

type of 5-Lipoxygenase Inhibitors

Zyflo (zileuton) is a leukotriene synthesis inhibitor used to control long-term (chronic) asthma and help decrease the number of asthma attacks.

The drug is often used to treat Asthma .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • dizziness,
  • constipation,
  • joint pain,
  • drowsiness,
  • trouble sleeping,
  • gas,
  • vomiting.
  • eye redness, or

  • Advair Diskus (fluticasone propionate)
  • AirDuo RespiClick Inhalation Powder (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol)

  • Azmacort (triamcinolone acetonide (inhalation aerosol))
