Zyflo (zileutin)
type of 5-Lipoxygenase Inhibitors
Zyflo (zileuton) is a leukotriene synthesis inhibitor used to control long-term (chronic) asthma and help decrease the number of asthma attacks.
The drug is often used to treat Asthma .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- dizziness,
- constipation,
- joint pain,
- drowsiness,
- trouble sleeping,
- gas,
- vomiting.
- eye redness, or

- Accolate (zafirlukast)
- Advair Diskus (fluticasone propionate)
- AirDuo RespiClick Inhalation Powder (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol)
- Proventil HFA (albuterol inhalation)
- ArmonAir RespiClick (fluticasone propionate multidose dry powder inhaler for oral inhalation)
- Azmacort (triamcinolone acetonide (inhalation aerosol))
- Elixophyllin (theophylline anhydrous liquid)
- Singulair (montelukast sodium)
- Serevent Diskus (salmeterol xinafoate)
