Zaltrap (ziv-aflibercept injection for intravenous infusion)

Zaltrap (ziv-aflibercept) injection for intravenous infusion is a recombinant fusion protein consisting of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) fused to the Fc portion of human IgG indicated for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- chest pain,
- seizure,
- severe headache,
- cough
- weight gain,
- headache,
- trouble swallowing,
- sudden numbness or weakness,
- bloody or tarry stools,
- coughing up blood,
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- skin sores,
- red or swollen gums,
- urine that looks foamy,
- puffy eyes,
- swelling in your ankles or feet,
- unusual bleeding (nose, mouth, vagina, rectum),
- any bleeding that will not stop,
- feeling very thirsty or hot,
- being unable to urinate,
- pink or brown urine,
- thinking problems,
- hot and dry skin,
- heavy sweating,
- sore throat, and
- vision loss,
- any wound that will not heal,
- blisters or ulcers in your mouth,
- severe or ongoing vomiting or diarrhea,
- sudden weakness (especially on one side of the body),
- ongoing stomach pain,
- problems with your speech or vision,
- rectal pain,
- foul-smelling vaginal discharge,
- pain or swelling in your lower stomach,
- problems with urination or bowel movements,
- change in bowel habits,
