Zolinza (vorinostat)

Zolinza (vorinostat) is an antineoplastic (anti-cancer) agent that works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells and is used to treat skin problems caused by cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Zolinza is usually given after other treatments have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• easy bruising,
• unusual bleeding,
• pale skin,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• cold hands and feet,
• fast heartbeats,
• chest pain,
• dizziness,
• dry mouth,
• sweating,
• unusual tiredness,
• increased thirst,
• increased urination,
• fruity breath odor,
• drowsiness,
• coughing up blood, and
• purple or red spots under your skin,
• hot and dry skin,
• pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in one or both legs
• feeling hot,
• inability to urinate,
