Wilate (von willebrand factor/coagulation factor viii complex (human))

Wilate, von Willebrand Factor/Coagulation Factor VIII Complex (Human) is indicated in children and adults with von Willebrand disease for on-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes and perioperative management of bleeding. Wilate is not indicated for treatment of hemophilia A.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• fever,
• lightheadedness,
• confusion,
• wheezing,
• weakness,
• dark colored urine,
• sudden cough,
• sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
• slurred speech,
• coughing up blood,
• chest tightness,
• pale or yellowed skin,
• pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in one or both legs,
• problems with your vision or balance,
• hot flashes when the injection is given,
• bleeding from a wound or where the medicine was injected, and
• bleeding that is not controlled

• Humate-P (antihemophilic factor/von willebrand factor complex (human) injection)
• Esperoct ([antihemophilic factor (recombinant), glycopegylated-exei] injection)
