Verapamil Hydrochloride (verapamil hydrochloride injection)

Verapamil hydrochloride extended-release is a calcium ion influx inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium ion antagonist) indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Verapamil hydrochloride is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache,
  • dizziness,
  • constipation,
  • indigestion,
  • skin rash,
  • fatigue,
  • muscle pain
  • swelling of the ankles,
