Vecuronium bromide for injection is a nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent indicated as an adjunct to general anesthesia, to facilitate endotracheal intubation and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. Vecuronium bromide is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever
- dizziness, and
- prolonged muscle weakness,
- unusually fast or slow heart rate,
