Tukysa (tucatinib tablets)
type of Antineoplastic Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors, Antineoplastics, Anti-HER2
Tukysa (tucatinib) is a kinase inhibitor used in combination with trastuzumab and capecitabine to treat adult patients with advanced unresectable or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer, including patients with brain metastases, who have received one or more prior anti-HER2-based regimens in the metastatic setting.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- lightheadedness,
- itching,
- loss of appetite,
- pale skin,
- tiredness,
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- stomach pain (upper right side),
- dark urine,
- cold hands and feet
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- unusual tiredness,
- trouble swallowing,
- clay-colored stools,
- seizure,
- shortness of breath, and
- red or swollen gums,
- blisters or ulcers in your mouth,
- severe or ongoing diarrhea,
- pain, blisters, bleeding, or severe rash in the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet,
