VisionBlue (trypan blue)

VisionBlue (trypan blue) Ophthalmic Solution is a selective tissue staining agent used as an aid in ophthalmic surgery by staining the anterior capsule of the lens.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- temporary blue coloration of the eye, and
- staining of implanted lenses.
The following drugs are related to VisionBlue, either as a replacement or used together:
- Altafluor (fluorescein sodium and benoxinate ophthalmic solution)
- Flurox (fluorescein sodium and benoxinate hydrochloride ophthalmic solution)
