Zilretta (triamcinolone acetonide extended-release injectable suspension) is an extended-release synthetic corticosteroid indicated as an intra-articular injection for the management of osteoarthritis pain of the knee.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- skin rash,
- shortness of breath,
- weight loss,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- dizziness,
- blurred vision,
- weight gain,
- dry mouth,
- headache,
- fainting,
- nervousness,
- pounding in the ears,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- cough,
- noisy breathing,
- agitation,
- fruity breath odor,
- slow wound healing,
- mood changes,
- hoarseness,
- painful or difficult urination,
- shallow breathing,
- flushed or dry skin,
- anxiety,
- aggression,
- depression,
- irritability,
- eye pain,
- increased thirst or urination,
- heartburn,
- muscle pain,
- vomiting that looks like coffee grounds
- decreased vision,
- little or no urine,
- irregular menstrual periods,
- increased appetite,
- trouble sleeping (insomnia),
- vision changes, and
- backache,
- numbness or tingling in the arms or legs,
- bloody, black, or tarry stools,
- fast, slow, pounding, or irregular heartbeats,
- swelling of the hands, fingers, lower legs or feet,
- difficulty speaking or walking,
- abdominal pain and cramping,
- decreased sexual desire,
- darkening of skin,
- muscle weakness or wasting,
- tearing of the eyes,
- facial hair growth in women,
- bone fractures,
- swelling or roundness of the face, neck or trunk,
- severe indigestion,
