Vesanoid (tretinoin)

Vesanoid (tretinoin) is a cancer medication used to treat acute promyelocytic leukemia (a type of blood cancer). The brand name Vesanoid is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- chest pain,
- vision problems,
- severe headache,
- weight gain,
- rapid heart rate,
- wheezing,
- trouble swallowing,
- flu symptoms,
- little or no urination,
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- new or worsening cough,
- pain when you breathe,
- ringing in your ears,
- red or swollen gums,
- coughing up blood, and
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds
- mouth or throat ulcers,
- problems with vision or speech,
- pain behind your eyes,
- stabbing chest pain,
- blood or tarry stools,
- rapid and shallow breathing,
- burning mouth pain,
- sudden numbness on one side of the body,
- pain or swelling in one leg,
