Tyvaso DPI (treprostinil inhalation powder)
type of PAH, Prostacyclin Analogs
Tyvaso DPI (treprostinil) is a prostacyclin mimetic indicated for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH; WHO Group 1) and pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD; WHO Group 3) to improve exercise ability.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- cough,
- shortness of breath, and
- flushing,
- sore throat/mouth pain,
- lightheadedness/fainting.
