Trelstar LA (triptorelin pamoate for injectable suspension)

Trelstar LA (triptorelin pamoate) for Injectable Suspension is a form of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) used to treat the symptoms of prostate cancer. Trelstar LA treats only the symptoms of prostate cancer and does not treat the cancer itself.

The drug is often used to treat Prostate cancer .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• fast heartbeats,
• dizziness,
• pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
• seizure,
• dry mouth,
• back pain,
• severe itching,
• sweating,
• trouble swallowing,
• restlessness,
• chest pain or pressure,
• blood in the urine,
• increased thirst,
• increased urination,
• fruity breath odor,
• muscle weakness,
• painful or difficult urination,
• sudden numbness or weakness,
• irritableness,
• aggression,
• slurred speech,
• mood or behavior changes,
• hunger,
• bone pain,
• problems with balance or coordination,
• burning when you urinate,
• crying,
• loss of movement in any part of your body,
• red skin rash,
• severe numbness or tingling in your legs or feet, and
• loss of bladder or bowel control
• new or worsening signs of puberty (in children),
