Tigan (trimethobenzamide hydrochloride capsules)

Tigan (trimethobenzamide hydrochloride) Capsules is an antiemetic indicated for the treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting, and for nausea associated with gastroenteritis. Tigan is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Gastroenteritis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- pale skin,
- cold hands and feet,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- seizure,
- restlessness,
- mouth sores,
- skin sores,
- tremors,
- shortness of breath
- lightheadedness, and
- problems with thought or memory,
- trouble speaking or swallowing,
- twitching or uncontrollable movements of your eyes, lips, tongue, face, arms, or legs,
- pain, stiffness, or unusual muscle spasm in your neck,
- inability to sit still,
The following drugs are related to Tigan, either as a replacement or used together:
- Bonjesta Extended-Release Tablets (doxylamine succinate and pyridoxine hydrochloride)
- Nurtec ODT (rimegepant orally disintegrating tablets, for sublingual or oral use)
