Westhroid (thyroid tablets, usp)

Westhroid (thyroid) is a hormone used to treat underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), to treat or prevent goiters, or as a diagnostic agent used in suppression tests to differentiate suspected mild hyperthyroidism or thyroid gland anatomy.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • weight loss,
  • tiredness,
  • headache,
  • trouble sleeping
  • changes in appetite,
  • changes in menstrual periods, or
