Torecan (thiethylperazine)

Torecan (thiethylperazine maleate) is a phenothiazine used to relieve nausea and vomiting. The brand name Torecan is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • increased heart rate,
  • weakness,
  • agitation,
  • drowsiness,
  • dry mouth
  • constipation, or
  • tremor (shaking),
