Tetanus (tetanus toxoid)

Tetanus (tetanus toxoid) Booster Injection is a vaccine used to prevent tetanus.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • swelling,
  • itching,
  • joint pain,
  • fever,
  • pain,
  • tiredness,
  • warmth,
  • redness,
  • stomach upset,
  • hives, and
  • rash near the injection site;
  • muscle aches and pains, or
  • swollen glands.
The following drugs are related to Tetanus, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Infanrix Hexa (combined diphtheria, tetanus toxoids, acellular pertussis, hepatitis b, inactivated poliomyelitis, adsorbed conjugated haemophilus influenzae)
