Vibativ (telavancin) for Injection is an antibiotic used to treat severe skin infections.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- shortness of breath,
- fluttering in your chest,
- little or no urination,
- severe stomach pain,
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- sudden dizziness,
- diarrhea that is watery or bloody (even if it occurs months after your last dose),
- swelling in your ankles or feet,
- weight gain, and
- foamy urine
The following drugs are related to Vibativ, either as a replacement or used together:
- Robitussin Ac (guaifenesin and codeine)
- Vancocin (vancocin)
