Tecvayli (teclistamab-cqyv injection)
type of Anti-BCMA Antibodies
Tecvayli (teclistamab-cqyv) is a bispecific B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-directed CD3 T-cell engager indicated for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least four prior lines of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody.
The drug is often used to treat Multiple myeloma .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- confusion,
- chills,
- seizure,
- sore throat
- rapid heart rate,
- low blood pressure,
- headache,
- fatigue,
- restlessness,
- little or no urination,
- muscle weakness,
- twitching,
- muscle spasm,
- trouble walking,
- shortness of breath,
- irregular heart rate,
- elevated liver enzymes,
- bluish skin,
- numbness and tingling in your hands and feet,
- mouth sores, and
- memory loss,
- difficulty with coordination,
- difficulty to concentrate,
- personality change,
- weakness in the arms or legs,
- difficulty speaking and swallowing,
