Tao (troleandomycin) is an antibiotic used to treat many different types of bacterial infections, such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, sinusitis, and pneumonia. The brand name Tao is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.
The drug is often used to treat Bronchitis , Pneumonia , Sinusitis , Tonsillitis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache
- nausea
- diarrhea
- vomiting
- dizziness
- fatigue
- vaginal yeast infection, and
- abdominal pain or cramping
- allergic reactions (hives, skin rash)
