Talvey (talquetamab-tgvs injection)

Talvey (talquetamab-tgvs) is a bispecific GPRC5D-directed CD3 T-cell engager indicated for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least four prior lines of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody.

The drug is often used to treat Multiple myeloma .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• rash,
• diarrhea,
• fever,
• weight loss,
• dry mouth,
• upper respiratory tract infection,
• musculoskeletal pain,
• headache,
• low blood pressure (hypotension),
• fatigue,
• dry skin,
• difficulty swallowing,
• changes in taste,
• cytokine release syndrome (CRS),
• nail disorder,
• skin disorder,
• decreased white blood cell count, and
• decreased hemoglobin.
