Sumycin (tetracycline)

Sumycin (tetracycline hydrochloride) is an antibiotic used to treat many different bacterial infections, such as urinary tract infections, acne, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and others. Sumycin is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• headache,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• sore throat,
• loss of appetite,
• stomach upset,
• white patches or sores inside your mouth or on your lips,
• vaginal itching or discharge.
