Stavzor (valproic acid) Delayed Release Capsules is an anticonvulsant used to treat various types of seizure disorders, manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, and to prevent migraine headaches.
The drug is often used to treat Bipolar disorder , Migraine .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- skin rash,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- confusion,
- tiredness,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- muscle aches,
- agitation,
- sore throat,
- burning eyes,
- skin pain,
- red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
- anxiety,
- panic attacks,
- trouble sleeping,
- irritableness,
- restless,
- hyperactivity (mentally or physically),
- mood or behavior changes,
- depression,
- ongoing nausea,
- purple or red pinpoint spots under your skin,
- severe weakness,
- unusual bruising,
- yellowing of your skin or eyes,
- cold feeling,
- impulsiveness,
- thoughts about self-harm,
- severe drowsiness, and
- upper stomach pain (may spread to your back),
- aggressiveness,
- hostile,
- change in your mental state,
- worsening seizures
