Zorbtive [somatropin (rDNA origin) for injection] is a human growth hormone (hGH) indicated for the treatment of Short Bowel Syndrome in patients receiving specialized nutritional support. Zorbtive therapy should be used in conjunction with optimal management of Short Bowel Syndrome.
