Sovaldi (sofosbuvir tablets)

Sovaldi (sofosbuvir) is a nucleotide analog inhibitor of HCV NS5B polymerase used to treat chronic hepatitis C (CHC) infection as a component of a combination antiviral treatment regimen.

The drug is often used to treat Hepatitis C .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• headache,
• diarrhea,
• weakness,
• itching,
• joint pain,
• anemia,
• fever,
• chills,
• insomnia,
• rash,
• fatigue,
• irritability,
• decreased appetite,
• flu-like illness,
• low white blood cell count (neutropenia), and
• low blood cell count (pancytopenia).
