Xpovio (selinexor tablets)

type of Selective Inhibitors of Nuclear Export (SINE)

Xpovio (selinexor) is a nuclear export inhibitor indicated in combination with dexamethasone for the treatment of adult patients
with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) who have received at least
four prior therapies and whose disease is refractory to at least two proteasome inhibitors,
at least two immunomodulatory agents, and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody.

The drug is often used to treat Multiple myeloma .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • loss of appetite,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • cold hands and feet,
  • weight loss,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • dizziness,
  • rapid heart rate,
  • headache,
  • fainting,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • flu symptoms,
  • slurred speech,
  • severe weakness,
  • severe ongoing nausea,
  • cough with mucus,
  • loss of coordination, and
  • feeling unsteady
  • mouth and throat ulcers,
  • tingly or painful blistering rash on one side of your body,
  • changes in mental status,
  • purple or red spots under the skin,
