Selseb (selenium sulfide 2.25%) shampoo is a liquid antiseborrheic, antifungal preparation for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, dandruff, and tinea versicolor. Selseb is available in the generic form termed selenium sulfide.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- skin irritation
- an increase in normal hair loss
- discoloration of the hair
- oiliness, and
- dryness of the hair and scalp
