SecreFlo (secretin) is a peptide hormone used in stimulating pancreatic secretions, including bicarbonate, to aid in the diagnosis of pancreatic exocrine dysfunction, to stimulate gastrin secretion to aid in the diagnosis of gastrinoma, and to stimulate pancreatic secretions to facilitate the identification of the ampulla of Vater and accessory papilla during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache
- nausea
- diarrhea
- fever
- vomiting
- sweating
- flushing
- fatigue
- rash
- bloating
- hives, and
- abdominal discomfort
- abdominal cramps
- slow heart rate
- feeling hot
