Transderm Scop (scopolamine)

Transderm Scop (transdermal scopolamine) is an anticholinergic drug patch applied to the skin used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by motion sickness or from anesthesia given during surgery.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• dizziness,
• dry mouth,
• drowsiness,
• itching or skin rash.
• memory problems, or
• dry or itchy eyes,
• feeling restless,

The following drugs are related to Transderm Scop, either as a replacement or used together:

• Barhemsys (amisulpride injection, for intravenous use)
• Antivert (meclizine)
• Meclizine Hydrochloride (meclizine hydrochloride tablets)
