Rufinamide (rufinamide tablets)

Rufinamide is an anticonvulsant indicated for adjunctive treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome in pediatric patients 1 year of age and older and in adults. Rufinamide is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• headache
• nausea
• itching
• vomiting
• dizziness
• fatigue
• constipation
• rash
• loss of appetite
• abdominal pain
• blurred vision
• indigestion
• restlessness
• anxiety
• drowsiness
• back pain
• runny or stuffy nose
• bronchitis
• sinus infection
• tremor
• double vision
• spinning sensation (vertigo)
• ear infection
• influenza
• Loss of balance or coordination
• aggression
• inattention
• eye movements
• abnormal walking (gait disturbance)
