Rykindo (risperidone)

Rykindo (risperidone) is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults and as monotherapy or as adjunctive therapy to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder in adults.

The drug is often used to treat Schizophrenia .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • lightheadedness,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • dry mouth,
  • sweating,
  • cough,
  • trouble swallowing,
  • sore throat,
  • increased thirst,
  • increased urination,
  • mouth sores,
  • very stiff (rigid) muscles,
  • high fever,
  • fast or uneven heartbeats,
  • impotence,
  • skin sores,
  • tremors,
  • sudden weakness,
  • cold or flu symptoms,
  • fruity breath odor, and
  • unusual bleeding (nose, mouth, vagina, or rectum),
  • purple or red pinpoint spots under your skin,
  • red or swollen gums,
  • missed menstrual periods,
  • nipple discharge,
  • penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer
  • feeling ill,
  • breast swelling or tenderness (in men or women),
  • lack of interest in sex,
