Vexol (rimexolone)

Vexol 1% (rimexolone ophthalmic suspension) is a corticosteroid used to treat eye inflammation caused by infections, injury, surgery, or other conditions.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache,
  • runny or stuffy nose,
  • eye redness,
  • sore throat, or
  • eye itching,
  • unusual or unpleasant taste in your mouth
  • feeling as if something is in your eye,
  • eye discomfort,
  • dry or watery eyes,
  • eyes being more sensitive to light,
The following drugs are related to Vexol, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Xibrom (bromfenac ophthalmic solution)
  • Yutiq (fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant)
