Tiglutik (riluzole oral suspension)
type of Glutamate Inhibitors
Tiglutik (riluzole) is indicated for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- tiredness,
- wheezing,
- sore throat,
- stomach pain (upper right side),
- mouth sores,
- dark urine, and
- skin sores,
- cough with mucus,
- dry cough,
- sudden chest pain,
The following drugs are related to Tiglutik, either as a replacement or used together:
- Radicava (edaravone injection)
- Radicava ORS (edaravone oral suspension)
- Qaslody (tofersen injection, for intrathecal use)
- Rilutek (riluzole)
