Rifamate (rifampin and isoniazid)

Rifamate (rifampin and isoniazid) is a combination of two antibiotics used to treat tuberculosis.

This drug may have the following side effects:

hives,
difficulty breathing,
swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
nausea,
upper stomach pain,
loss of appetite,
dark urine,
fever,
easy bruising,
pale skin,
confusion,
tiredness,
clay-colored stools,
yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
weakness,
hallucinations,
vision changes,
unusual thoughts or behavior,
unusual weakness,
unusual bleeding (nose, mouth, vagina, or rectum), and
purple or red pinpoint spots under your skin
