Rhogam Ultra-Filtered Plus (rho(d) immune globulin (human))

RhoGAM Ultra-Filtered PLUS (rhod immune globulin human) is a solution made from human blood used to prevent an immune response to Rh-positive blood in people with an Rh-negative blood type. RHo (D) immune globulin may also be used in the treatment of immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). RhoGAM Ultra-Filtered PLUS is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• headache
• nausea
• diarrhea
• vomiting
• tiredness
• dizziness
• weakness
• itching or skin rash
• body aches
• joint or muscle pain
• stomach pain, or
• injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness, a hard lump, warmth,
  or tenderness)
