Rescula (unoprostone isopropyl)

Rescula (unoprostone isopropyl) Ophthalmic Solution is a synthetic docosanoid that reduces pressure in the eye by increasing the amount of fluid that drains from the eye and is used to treat certain types of glaucoma and other causes of high pressure inside the eye.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat
• increased sensitivity to light,
• blurry vision,
• bleeding in the eye,
• pain in the eye,
• increased pressure in the eye,
• clouding of the lens of the eye (cataracts),
• abrasion of the cornea,
• deposits on the eye,
• fluid accumulation in the cornea or swelling of the eye,
• loss of peripheral (side) vision,
• color blindness,
• redness in the eye,  
• excessive coloration of the iris,
• pink eye,
• inflammation of the eyelid, and
• discharge from the eye

• Azopt (brinzolamide ophthalmic suspension)
• Lumigan (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03% for glaucoma)
• Qoliana (brimonidine tartrate ophthalmic solution)
• Simbrinza (brinzolamide/brimonidine tartrate ophthalmic suspension)
• Izba (travoprost ophthalmic solution)
• Mitosol (mitomycin)

The following supplements are related to Rescula, and may be used together with the drug:

• Marijuana (s.)
• Ginkgo (s.)
