Requip XL (ropinirole extended release tablets)

Requip XL (ropinirole extended-release tablets) is a non-ergoline dopamine agonist that works by helping restore the balance of a natural substance (dopamine) in the brain and is used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease, such as stiffness, tremors, muscle spasms, and poor muscle control. Requip XL is also used to treat restless legs syndrome (RLS).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• headache,
• sweating,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• sleep problems (insomnia),
• constipation,
• loss of appetite,
• stomach pain,
• dry mouth,
• drowsiness,
