Remodulin (treprostinil sodium)

Remodulin (treprostinil sodium) is a vasodilator that works by dilating (widening) the arteries used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Remodulin improves the ability to exercise and prevents the condition from getting worse.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• fever,
• pale skin,
• lightheadedness,
• tiredness,
• rapid heart rate,
• flu symptoms,
• chest pain, and
• swelling in your hands or feet,
• mouth and throat ulcers,
• rapid and shallow breathing,
• pain, swelling, redness, bleeding, or a hard lump where your catheter is placed,
• trouble brething
