Relyvrio (sodium phenylbutyrate and taurursodiol) is a combination of a urea cycle disorder treatment agent and a bile acid indicated for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in adults.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- diarrhea,
- upper respiratory tract infection,
- fatigue,
- abdominal pain,
- excess salivation, and
- dizziness.
The following drugs are related to Relyvrio, either as a replacement or used together:
- Qaslody (tofersen injection, for intrathecal use)
- Rilutek (riluzole)
