Rapaflo Capsules (silodosin capsules)

Rapaflo (silodosin) is an alpha-adrenergic blocker used to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache,
  • dizziness,
  • diarrhea,
  • weakness,
  • sleep problems (insomnia),
  • stomach pain,
  • sore throat.
  • runny or stuffy nose, or
  • decreased amount of semen released during sex,
  • abnormal ejaculation,
The following drugs are related to Rapaflo Capsules, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Uroxatral (alfuzosin hcl)
  • Avodart (dutasteride)
  • Cardura (doxazosin mesylate)
  • Proscar (finasteride)
  • Flomax (tamsulosin hydrochloride)
  • Hytrin (terazosin hcl)
