Ragwitek (short ragweed pollen allergen extract tablets)

Ragwitek (short ragweed pollen allergen extract) contains a pollen allergen extract from short ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia) and is used as immunotherapy to treat short ragweed pollen-induced allergic rhinitis, with or without conjunctivitis, confirmed by positive skin test or in vitro testing for pollen-specific IgE antibodies for short ragweed pollen.

The drug is often used to treat Allergic rhinitis , Conjunctivitis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • lightheadedness,
  • stomach pain,
  • wheezing,
  • cough,
  • chest pain, and
  • trouble breathing,
  • chest tightness,
  • fast heart rate,
  • severe dizziness,
  • flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
  • trouble swallowing
  • severe mouth or throat irritation,
  • chocking feeling,
