Synercid (quinupristin and dalfopristin)

Synercid I.V. (quinupristin and dalfopristin) for Injection is a combination antibiotic used to treat severe infections in the blood and other body systems.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • dizziness,
  • diarrhea,
  • sleep problems (insomnia),
  • constipation,
  • skin rash or itching,
  • joint or muscle pain,

  • vomiting,

  • vaginal itching or
    discharge, or
  • local reactions where the IV needle is placed (pain, swelling, or irritation).

  • Bactroban Cream (mupirocin calcium cream)
