Provenge (sipuleucel-T) suspension for intravenous infusion is a preparation made from the patient's own immune cells that is used for the treatment of prostate cancer.
The drug is often used to treat Prostate cancer .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- chills,
- fast heartbeats,
- tiredness,
- dizziness,
- vision problems,
- severe headache,
- pounding in your neck or ears,
- sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
- slurred speech,
- shortness of breath
- racing or irregular heartbeats,
- pain or redness where a needle was placed for blood cell collection or infusion,
- pain, swelling, warmth, or discoloration in an arm or a leg,
- chest pain that gets worse with deep breathing, and
