Protopic (tacrolimus)

Protopic (tacrolimus) is an immunosuppressant used to treat severe atopic dermatitis when other medications have not worked well.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- burning,
- redness, or
- stinging,
- soreness,
- itching in the area of treated skin during the first few days of treatment.
