Rayos (prednisone delayed-release tablets)

Rayos (prednisone) is a corticosteroid prescribed for several diseases and conditions including atopic dermatitis, seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, treatment of acute leukemia and aggressive lymphomas, asthma, psoriatic arthritis, and more.

The drug is often used to treat Allergic rhinitis , Asthma , Psoriatic arthritis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • nervousness,
  • trouble sleeping (insomnia),
  • depression,
  • weight gain,
  • rash,
  • hives, 
  • increased sweating,
  • acne,
  • bloating,
  • stretch marks, 
  • fluid retention, 
  • increased appetite, 
  • muscle weakness, 
  • feeling unwell (malaise),
  • facial redness,
  • fast or slow heart rate,
  • elevated blood sugar,
  • increased blood pressure,
  • behavioral and mood changes,
  • lightheadedness and fainting,
  • spinning sensation (vertigo), and
  • vision problems.
