Prandin (repaglinide)

Prandin (repaglinide) is an oral diabetes medicine in the meglitinide class used together with diet and exercise to treat type 2 (non-insulin dependent) diabetes. Other diabetes medicines are sometimes used in combination with Prandin.

The drug is often used to treat Diabetes .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • confusion,
  • weakness,
  • sore throat,
  • dark colored urine,
  • skin pain, and
  • fast heart rate,
  • pale or yellowed skin,
  • burning in your eyes,
  • severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
