Urocit-K (potassium citrate extended-release tablets)

Urocit-K (potassium citrate) Extended-Release is a form of the mineral potassium used to treat a kidney stone condition called renal tubular acidosis. Urocit-K is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • diarrhea,

  • vomiting,
  • stomach pain or upset, or
  • the appearance of a potassium citrate tablet in your
    stool.

  • Zyloprim (allopurinol)
  • Colchicine (colchicine)
  • Mitigare (colchicine capsules)
  • Colcrys (colchicine tablets)
