Slow-K (potassium chloride) is an electrolyte replenisher, a mineral supplement used to prevent or treat low amounts of potassium in the blood. Slow-K is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea, and
- stomach pain or upset,
- gas,
- rarely, skin rash.
